Community Services & Development consists of the Public Works Department, Public Utilities, and Inspections/Administration. The Public Works Department (Streets & Parks) is responsible for maintenance of streets, including potholes, street signs, tree trimming, etc., and the overall maintenance of City Parks and Facilities. Public Utilities (Water and Wastewater) handles the maintenance and overall operation of the city’s water and wastewater systems, including six wells and nine lift stations. Our Inspections/Administration Department handles management support, as well as planning and zoning issues and all aspects of new construction within the city, including building plan review, permits, and inspections.
