Carleen Bright Arboretum Master Plan

The Master Plan divides the 16 acres of the Carleen Bright Arboretum into four major zones of related function & visitor experience. Sub-areas with distinct purpose & character lie within each zone.

  • The Western Gardens & Whitehall Center occupy the approximate south western corner of the property & have access from Bosque Boulevard.
  • The Eastern Gardens include plantings & displays within the southeastern quarter of the property between Whitehall Center & Pavilion Way (Wood Valley Drive).
  • The Pavilion, along with Wedding Lawn and the Gazebo,  compose roughly the middle part of the acreage & have access from Pavilion Way (Woodway Valley Drive).
  • The Todd Willis Nature Trail & maintenance complex lie within the northern extent of the Arboretum & run the full width of the property.
